Biography
Captain Findley Ewing was born on September 7, 1691, in Stirlingshire, Scotland, the child of James H. He married Jane Porter about 1710 in Ireland. He had three children by the time he was 28. He died in June 1787 in Otter, Virginia, at the impressive age of 95.
