He came to America in 1727 with Nathaniel Ewing and his half brothers.[1] He died in Cecil County, Maryland.[2] Will probated in Cecil County 1738.[3] His will mentions his sons James, John, William and Samuel, and a daughter Margaret, and his son-in-law Andrew Porter who was the husband of Elinor, another daughter.[4] Margaret married Robert Porter.[5]
