Note: In the Isle of Wight County, Virginia, 1628-1800, there was only one marriage for Edward Jones, plus there wasn't any records mentioning a Jane Harris or a Mary Batt.

That this Edward Jones of the Bruton Parish in County of Yorke (will written Oct 1690, proved Nov 1690) and Spouse Mary [no surname]
had son Edward Jones who married DEBORAH EXUM, d/o William Exum.
and that their son Edward Jones married the daughter of John Sugars. That in John Sugars will he mentions daughter Abigail Jones, giving her the land upon which Edward Jones lives. [7]
