DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Elizabeth by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Elizabeth:
My 2x great grand mother was susan Smith Pullen. Her mother was Lovisa Bartlett and father Lemuel Smith. Lemuel's mother was Elizabeth Betsy Fairchild and father Jessie Smith. There is no evidence that my Lemuel Smith ever married a Philomenia Morton. It must be a different Lemuel smith. My line is correct.
Fairchild-401 and Fairchild-300 appear to represent the same person because: Jessie Smith who married Elizabeth Fairchild was the son of a famous United Empire Loyalist Abraham Smith. She was his second wife. They married in Norfolk Co. Ontario and later moved to Walkerton Michigan.
