Biography

Elizabeth was born on 19 May 1700, to Captain Phillip Atwood and Sarah Tenney, in Bradford, Essex, Massachusetts.[1][2]

She married Nathaniel Fales 21 January 1722 in Bradford, Essex, Massachusetts.[3]

Children born to Elizabeth Atwood and Nathaniel Fales:

Nathaniel Fales passed away 29 September 1737.[5]

The widow Elizabeth Fales married Samuel Tenney II 28 December 1749, in Bradford, Essex, Massachusetts.[6][7]

Elizabeth Atwood Fales Tenney's death is recorded in Vital Records of Townsend, Massachusetts, from the records of the old cemetery there. She died "Dec. 30th 1783, in the 83d year of her age" (gravestone), and is buried at the Old Burying Ground in Townsend, where her gravestone reads:[8][9]

Greeting: In adding a dependable source & link could not help but notice date of death and place of death could use a review using all possible sources. The latest source 'Old Burying Ground' and Find a Grave have different information but I did no additional looking ? cheers

Atwood-1845 and Atwood-1154 appear to represent the same person because: I think these two are actually different women, but they have the same birth date-place. but they have different spouses and death dates. Something needs attending to...
