Biography

Margaret Fanning, the daughter of William and Esther Fanning, was born about 1726, Stonington, New London, Connecticut, she died 27 March 1752 at the age of 26, Stonington, New London, Connecticut.[1]Buried: North Stonington, New London, Connecticut.

Margaret married James Billings, the son of James Billings and Mary Hewitt.[1]

Inscription on Memorial Stone: "Here lies the Body of Mrs Margret Billing wife of Mr James Billing Jun who died March 27 1752 in her 26th year of her Age"[1]

Research Notes

Margaret's father William Fanning is possibly the son of John Fanning and Margaret Colver.[1] William wasn't mentioned in the will of John Fanning. Some records show that William the son of John and Margaret Fanning was single.[1]
