He and his brother David Fannon (Fannin) were known to have moved to Kentucky.
Had at least 5 children: John D. Fannin (1779-1853) , Bryant Fannin Jr (1786-1854), Achilles Fannin (1788), William Fannin (1797), and Mary Elizabeth (Fanning) Cooper
