Married: Lucy Botsford (30 AUG 1772 - 1840) in Derby, New Haven, CT before 1793 in NY

Note: In 1805 Hawkins Fanton and family, together with Daniel Parsons, Gusta Lyons, John Daley, David Banks, Zaccheus Morehouse and others from Connecticut and Vermont settled near Milport, N.Y., on the middle road east of that place.

Later, Hawkins moved his family to Greenwood, N.Y. where he died and was buried. His sons settled near Wellsville, N.Y., and had the remains of Hawkins and his wife brought to the cemetery at Stannards, N.Y.
