Biography

John Pleasant was born in about 1786 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. He was the son of Isham Farmer and Elizabeth (Johnson) Farmer.[1]

John Pleasant married on 24 May 1804 in Halifax, Virginia.[1]

In the 1820 census John Pleasant was living in Meadsville, Halifax, Virginia.[2]

When John Pleasant was about 36 he married in May 1822, in Halifax, Virginia.[3]

In the 1830 census John Pleasant was living in Franklin, Virginia.[4]

Pleasant's will was written and submitted to probate in Halifax County in January 1839.[5]
