Biography

He was in Parkerstown (Mendon, Vermont) for some time. Minot was elected the first Constable of Mendon (Rutland County, Vermont) on March 11, 1806. After Minot left Mendon, he lived in Rutland, Vermont around 1810-1811 according to a suit vs Minot Farmer filed in Rutland County, Minot was living in Chazy, New York around 1826-1835. Minot lived in Potsdam, St. Lawrence County, New York just before leaving for Pennsylvania.
