Probate
John Farmer of Lunenburg, husbandman died intestate and on 17 September 1735, his widow Rebecca was granted the administration of his estate.[6]
His inventory was taken on 29 September 1735 in Lunenburg.[7]
In 1736, after the deceased of his widow, Rebecca, Daniel Taylor was granted the administration of his estate.[8]
In 1738, an account of his estate by Daniel Taylor was recorded which included the sale of real estate, debts paid by Rebecca, debts paid, funeral charges, the charges to take care of the children, one son and two daughters, and administration fees. The balance was divided between the children.[9]
Research Notes
Unclear which Rebecca Clark he married. Online tree from familysearch.org shows the birth date and location of Rebecca Clark-488, BUT with incorrect parents, namely Joseph Clark and Lydia Grinnell of Connecticut.
