Biography

Sarah Farnsworth, daughter of Matthias Farnsworth and Mary Farr, was born about 1663 in Groton, Massachusetts.^[1] She is probably the Sara Farnsworth, daughter of Matthias, born 13 Feb 1657 in Salem, Massachusetts.^[2]

She married Simon Stone, son of Simon Stone and Mary Whipple, about 1685, probably in Groton and the couple had ten children born in Groton:^[1]

These two Sarah Stones are often confused, as they lived in the same area (Middlesex, Massachusetts) during the the late 1600s and early 1700s, they both carried the same surnames (Farnsworth and Stone) and they married brothers: Simon and John Stone.
