i believe this to be my 2x great grandfather he is known as James Samuel Farrar born 4 day of March 1834 in Monroe County New York. He was married to Sarah Parker daughter of Lyman Parker and Elizabeth Chase. He served in the Civil War. He is buried in Watertown Towwnship Cemetery, Tuscola County, Michigan
