Abel Farrar was a Virginia colonist.

By 1820 Abel Farrar was living in Monroe County, Alabama as on 18 Nov of that year he was named as a Deputy for Monroe County, Alabama who signed a statement for the County indicating Cyprian Webster's appointment as County Auctioneer, and requesting the Governor of the state commission him accordingly.[1]
