Biography

William and Jerusha migrated to Union Parish, LA and then to Ashley Co., AR. Joined, along with his family, the Ocmulgee Baptist Church, about 2 1/2 miles from homestead on Aug 26, 1843, along with Jerusha Bass. William Thomas Farrar and Jerusha Bass were married by Rev Gary Abner McGraw on 27 Aug 1843, she was under age, and were married again on Aug 20, 1846 by Rev. Elias George, Ocmulgee Baptist Church.
