This is not the correct birthdate for a son Joseph born to Jacob and Hannah (Hayward) Farrar if they had such a son. They did not marry until 1668 and she would have been 13 years old at the time of his birth. This is the correct birthdate for Jacob's half-brother assuming that is correct. Several unsourced online trees indicate a birth of 1673. NEHGR vol 16 (1862) p 358 claims 6 6 *72 for son of Jacob and Ann (alias Hannah) fferrer with an asterisk to the Middlesex records showing 6 6 60. Whether Jacob and Hannah and his father Jacob and second wife Ann both had sons named Joseph is up for debate. Whether it was one or two men, they must have died before coming of age as there are no further mentions of them in the town records. It is my belief that Jacob and Hannah did not have a son Joseph. Unless solid evidence for his existence as a son of Jacob and Hannah is found, he should be detached and merged with Farrar-26
