Biography

Joseph was born on 13 May 1844 in Whitley, Kentucky, United States. He was the son of Joseph Dowis Farris and Mary Jane (Doolin) Farris.[1]

In the 1850 census Joseph (age 4) was living in District 2, Whitley, Kentucky.[1]

In the 1860 census Joseph (age 14) was living in Williamsburg, Whitley, Kentucky, United States.[2]

In the 1870 census Joseph (age 24) was living in Wats Creek, Whitley, Kentucky, United States.[3]

In the 1880 census Joseph (age 34) was living in Whitley, Kentucky, United States.[4]

In the 1900 census Joseph (age 54) was living in Corbin Town, Knox, Kentucky.[5]

In the 1910 census Joseph (age 63) was living in Corbin Ward 1, Knox, Kentucky.[6]

Joseph died at the age of 67 on 11 September 1913 in Whitley, Kentucky, United States.[7][8]
