Presly [Presley] Faris {Farris] was born 21 Oct 1857 in Laurel County, Kentucky to Amos Faris and Nancy Mardis. [1]

In 1900, Presley A Faris of Laurel County, Kentucky, age 43, born October 1857 in Kentucky, was head of a large household. He and his wife, Leney [Lucy] had been married for 18 years and had six children. Presley's brother, Robert, and mother, Nancy, also lived in the home. In addition, they had a man boarding with them.
