Biography

Cornelia Faucett wed Ira P. Gillespie July 19, 1877 in Jefferson County, Alabama.^[1]

Cornelia Gillespie was enumerated as wife at T14 R4 W, Blount County, Alabama for the June 9, United States Census, 1880. She was noted as keeping house, born 1861 in Alabama and married as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are self Ira T Gillespie, daughter Lula Gillespie and daughter Lizzie Gillespie.^[2]

Eunice C Gillespie was enumerated as wife of the head of household in Precincts 13, 16 Whites, Selfville, Blount County, Alabama for the June 7, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as born August 1860 in Alabama and had been married for twenty-two years. She was the mother of seven children of which six were still living. Also included in the household are head Ira P Gillespie, daughter Lizzie A Gillespie, son Ophus Gillespie, daughter Mary B Gillespie, daughter Edna C Gillespie and daughter Maybelle Gillespie as seen in an image of the original census.^[3]

Eunice C Gillespie was enumerated as wife of the head of household at Self, Blount County, Alabama for the April 26, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1861 in Alabama and married. She was the mother of seven children of which all were living as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Ira P Gillespie, daughter Mary B Gillespie, daughter Edna C Gillespie, daughter Mabel Gillespie and son Howell Gillespie.^[4]
