Biography

Penelope was born the daughter of Cutting and Mary (Wells) Favor (or Feavor) in 1696 in the British Colony of Massachusetts Bay. On October 6, 1718 she would marry Joseph Taylor in Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts. Together they would have the following children:

Willoughby Taylor (1719- )

William Taylor (1721- )

John Taylor (1723- )

Anna Taylor (1727- )

Catherine Taylor (1729- )

Sarah (Taylor) Scribner (1728-1824)

Mercy Taylor (1730- )

Mary Taylor (1733-1817)

Penelope would pass away in around 1739 at about 43 years of age.

The marriage above should be 6 October to match the Biography. See comments on her husband's profile regarding birth dates of children Anna and Catherine. Her birthdate and parents given at the top do not match those in the Biography. Her death date cannot be correct since Anna and Catherine were born in 1742 and 1745 respectively according to her husband's probate record.
