Addie Amelia Fay was born at Wheatland, Wis., Sept 6th, 1849 and passed away Aug. 22, 1933. She was the fifth child of John and Julia Ann Fay.
She as a young woman moved to Iowa with her parents, where she has lived ever since. In 1869, she was united in marriage to Ephraim Walker to which union there was born one son Arthur J. of Hazleton.
She united with the Methodist church when a young woman. She was a knd and loving wife and mother, ever ready to extend a helping hand to those in need. She leaves to mourn her loss one son, Arthur J. of Hazleton, one brother and one sister and more distant relatives in vicinity of Boy River, Minn.
Funeral services were held from the Presbyterian church in Hazleton Thursday afternoon conducted by Rev. James Wray. Interment was made in Hazleton Cemetery.
