"Comfort Butler and Sarah Smith were daughters of Moses Fay. All of theten children were by his first wife Mary Pike . Half of them died beforetheir father, four of them as young children. The youngest son Solomonwas not mentioned i n his father's will, but except for his birth recordnothing more is known of him.
We do not know anything about the ancestry of Mary Pike. It is thoughtthat the strong Indian features in some of the f ollowing generations,suggests that Mary Pike was at least part Indian. THe tribe of theatarea (Worcester County) was N ipmunk."

Moses married Hannah Carver sometime between 1751 and July of 1753, when an account of guardianship of his wife, Hannah was presented to the Plymouth probate court. Moses acknowledged that he received the balance from the estate of her former guardian, Samuel Lucas, decd., (brother to Elisha Lucas, who presented the account).[1]
