Biography

Laura Louise Gfeller was born on 19 May 1889 in Bern, Switzerland. She was the daughter of Jake Gfeller and Anna Knore. ^[1]

She married her first husband, Bartley Aegerter, on April 20, 1912 in Stark, Ohio.^[2]

They had several children including the following:

• Bertha Freda Aegerter, 1913–2003^{[3] [4] [5] [6] [7]}

• Ernest Karl Aegerter, 1914–1988^{[4][5] [8]}
• Freda Aegerter, 1916–2007^[4][5][9]
• possibly still living child^[5]

Bartley died on August 12, 1939 in Salem, Ohio as a result of being kicked in the head by a horse.^{[10] [11]}

Louise married her 2d husband, Walter Hofer, on 18 Apr 1951 in Columbiana County, Ohio.^[1]

Louise died 22 Apr 1971 in Alliance, Stark, Ohio.^[12]
