WOMEN PUT OUT FIRE

AVOCA -While Mr Jock Haynes of Amphitheatre was away working for the day his house caught fire The flames were noticed by Mrs W Montgomery and Miss R Collins who at once set to work and effected a good save The house was only partially destroyed.
