Margaret is the daughter of Jane Ferguson. She was born about June 1848 in Alabama. She married David Thomas Wheeler 15 March 1877 in Sanford County (now Lamar County) , Alabama. She helped to raise the four children from David's first marriage, and they had five children of their own. Margaret was enumerated in the 1900 Census with their three youngest daughters. Therefore it was after 1900 that she passed away. She is buried on one side of David and his first wife is buried on the other side.
