DEATH REPORT. DOUBLE TRAGEDY. BOYS BURIED IN SAND. Perth, Dec. 22. A sad double tragedy occurred to-day at Bassendean, formerly known as West Guildford, when two youthful brothers, Leonard Ogilvie Ferguson, aged 10½ years, and Maxwell Ferguson, aged 9, were buried alive in treacherous sand. The two boys, with their little sister, were playing near a house belonging to relatives, where they were staying with their mother. They had been tunnelling in the bank of a little creek which ran through the property. The first intimation of the tragedy came when the little girl-returned to the house and said that the boys were stuck in the dirt. The boys uncle went quickly to to the spot and found them buried in a about three feet of sand. They were both dead when extricated.

FUNERAL NOTICE. FERGUSON.---The Friends of Mr. and Mrs. C. O. Ferguson, of Tambrey Station, Roebourne, are respectfully invited to follow the remains of their late beloved sons, Lennard Ogilvie and Maxwell, to the place of interment, the Anglican Cemetery, Upper Swan. The Funeral is appointed to leave the residence of their grandmother. Mrs. A. Barrett-Lennard, Comares, North-road, West Guildford, at 10 o'clock THIS (Saturday) MORNING, per road, arriving at the Cemetery at 11 a.m.
