Biography
Ellen Cornelia Ferris married James Emmerson Dixon in December 1848. Their children were: Richard Ferris, John Chaffy, Charles Weldon, Mary Ellen, Horace, Sidney Gordon, Arthur James and Cornelia Ferris.
Following the death Ellen (Ferris) Dixon, on March 6, 1868, James married Miss Elizabeth Ferris, Ellen's sister.
