Orin (or Orrin) Field, born 12 Jun 1792 at Cornwall, Vermont, was a son of Elisha Field (1763-1852) and Ruth (Kirkham) Field (abt.1770-abt.1835) ^[1].

His first wife was Hannah Drury (1795 - 1836), who he married in 1826 ^[2].

He married second, 22 Mar 1815 at Cornwall, Vermont, Maria Alvord. They had 4 children ^[3]:

Orin Field married third, 20 Oct 1836 at Bridport, Vermont, Almyra (per per grave marker) or Amanda (per marriage record) Searl (1810 - 1843) ^[4].

His fourth wife was Rhoda Weeks (nee Robinson; 1798 - 1884), widow of Salmon Weeks, who he married 5 Dec 1844 at Cornwall, Vermont ^[5].

Per the Alvord genealogy, Orrin Field was a soldier at battle of Plattsburg in 1814, and rose to the rank of Major in the Militia. He was a member of the Congregational Church at Cornwall for fifty years ; was a Justice of Peace and represented the town of Cornwall, Vt., in the Legislature, 1856-57. He was four times married.

Orrin Field died 16 Mar 1882 at Cornwall, Vermont ^[6]. His grave is in South Cemetery, Cornwall, Addison County, Vermont, USA ^[7].
