Biography

California Death Index says his mother's maiden name was Knotts.

He does not show up in any census records after 1920. Be careful not to confuse with Wesley J Field/Fields born 1906 in Minnesota and lived in Los Angeles in 1920. Perhaps he started using his middle name instead of Wesley.

Wesley Henry Field: m abt. 1933 to Agnes Zella Hoffman (1912-1948). One child, Louis Jay Field, b Aug. 7, 1935, d April 25, 1996. Divorced about 1940 as Agnes remarried in 1941 to Charles Johnston.
