John Field was born 8 DEC 1673 in Deerfield, Massachusetts. his parents were Zecheriah Field and Sarah Webb.

John married Mary Bennett (b: in Northampton MA) 9 NOV 1696 in Deerfield, Massachusetts.[1] [2]

  2. John Field b: 4 OCT 1700 in Deerfield, Massachusetts
  3. Sarah Field b: 14 APR 1703 in Deerfield, Massachusetts
  4. Pedijah Field b: 28 JAN 1707 in Deerfield, Massachusetts
  5. Bennet Field b: 13 DEC 1709 in Deerfield, Massachusetts
  6. Sarah Field b: 20 JUL 1712 in Deerfield, Massachusetts

John's family was in an Indian raid 29 February 1704, his wife and one son and daughter were captured and another daughter killed. His wife returned after a few years as did his son, but his daughter remained with the tribe. He moved to East Guilford, Connecticut and from there to Coventry.

John passed away in 1718 in Coventry, Massachusetts [sic = Connecticut]
