↑ Source: #S1714 Data: Text: William Clark's oldest son, William Jr., was a mariner who died in 1741 and does not appear to have married. William's youngest son was Allison Clark Sr., who appears to have been born about 1697 and married Martha Field before 1620. (Note: some report that Martha's surname was Hudson rather than Field -- perhaps she was a widow.) As you probably know, Allison Clark Sr. also left a will which detailed his surviving children. They and their spouses are noted in earlier messages in this sequence and elsewhere on the Clark Forum. Let me know via e-mail if you would like info on later generations.

Per SAR records this is NOT the daughter of Peter Field, his daughter is well documented in Genealogies of Virginia Families Author: Tyler's Quarterly Historical and Genealogical Magazine, Volume 1. Publisher: Genealogical Publishing Com, 1981. Page: 445 & 446. She married John Archer. This Martha Field is still a subject of discussion...as indicated in your notes...her name may have been Hudson, but she most certainly was born closer to 1700 as the children in her husband's will were born as late as 1740
