Of Frans Hegeman, Bergen in his Kings County Early Settlers, reports that no trace exists after his marriage, 29 Oct 1709. But Frans appears several times at Poughkeepsie and 12 June 1719, had a son Frans bap at New Brunswick NJ.
It seems strange that no genealogy of so prominent a family as the Hegeman has been published. Issue (of Catrina de Duytscher and Hendrick Hegeman):
  1. 215 Frank Hegeman, bap 13 Feb 1742-3, Poughkeepsie; wit.: Frans "Hegemondt," Anche "Hegemondt" (b. Ruard), the grandparents.

Ruard-5 and Ruard-2 appear to represent the same person because: did not find her LNAB until after entry.

Thanks.

Filken-2 and Ruard-2 appear to represent the same person because: This is the other newly created duplicate that we have to merge into the project Ruard profile. No tree conflicts, after I removed the false Filken father, who is really her stepfather. Her correct name is Ruard, as is sourced in the project profile. Thanks!

Katharine, you should not have created this daughter yet again today.

This woman is Ruard, she is not a daughter of Filkin.

We now have to remove her and hope we can merge her yet again, and keep her correct. So please, do not create any more profiles in this pre-1700 line.

Hi Katharine, it looks to me that when you manually attached Antje as daughter of Henry Filken, that was in error, because he is the second husband of Catherine Vonk. They married in 1695, almost a decade after Antje was born.

So that's why the last names Roard and Filken do not match up. Antje's father was instead Henry Ruard, Catherine Vonk's first husband.

So to clean this up for a good merge of Antje, I am going to disconnect the Henry Filken stepfather as father.

Ruard-4 and Ruard-2 appear to represent the same person because: duplicates so should be merged, there are just two duplicates created/uploaded so far,one for Antje Ruard and one for daughter Catherina Hegeman, so the Antje s should be merged first I guess.
