Biography

Jemima was born in 1811. She was the daughter of Daniel Finch and Sarah Peffers. She passed away in 1881.

She married Rev. Nelson Southworth in 1835 in Seward, Schoharie, New York. Their children were Lois Southworth (1833–1855), Keziah Southworth (1834–1902), Nelson Mason Southworth (1835–1928), Austin Sexton Southworth (1840–1924), Adaline Southworth (1841–1892), Emory R. Southworth (1843–1902), Lysander D. Southworth (1845–1895), Lydia Maria Southworth (1847–1917), William Southworth (1852–1937), Henry A. Southworth (1854–1930), Dorcas Southworth (1855–Deceased), Maria Southworth (1856–Deceased), Gurley S. Southworth (1857–1881) and Emily Southworth (1861–Deceased).

Jemima passed away on 28 July 1881 in Delaware, Sullivan, New York followed with burial at the Elk Creek Cemetery (Benedict Cemetery) in Delaware County, New York.
