Clarence was born in 1885. He was the son of Edgar Finch and Laura Dornburgh. He passed away in 1965.
He married Edith Lottie Warner in 1907 in Iowa. Their children were Glen Clarence Finch (1908–1963) and Cleo L. Finch (1910–1910).
They farmed in the Dickinson and Clay Counties area and later moved to Colton where he was employed with the John Deere Company until his retirement.
Clarence passed away on 25 July, 1965 in Sioux City, Woodbury, Iowa followed with transportation for burial at the Fairview Cemetery (Plot: 333-2) in Terril, Dickinson County, Iowa.
