Biography

George Washington Finch was born about March 14, 1860 in Detroit, Red River, Texas, United States, son of Robert E. Finch (~1823–~1873) and Emily Davis (1834–1910).[1]

In 1870, George (11) in Red River, Texas, United States. [2]

In 1880, George was living in household of Emily Finch (47) in Justice Precinct 4, Red River, Texas, United States. Born in Texas. [3]

George married Rosa Jane Decker, about 24 December, Hunt, Texas, United States. They had about nine children.

In 1900, George was living in Jones, Texas. [4]

In 1910, George W (50, farmer/gen. farm), was living with his wife RJ (age 45) and children: Clarence, Amy, Omie, Thomas, Nora, Julian, and Edward Finch, in Jack, Texas, United States. Also living with them was A.J. Decker, mother-in-law (age 75).[5]

In 1920, George (59), was living with his wife Rosa (age 54) and son Julian (age 12) in Wise, Texas, United States. [6]

George died about June 7, 1933 in Bellevue, Clay, Texas, (aged 73, married). He was buried in Bellevue Cemetery, Bellevue, Clay County, Texas.[1] [7]
