Biography
Jane Findlay was born in Scotland but was one of the child who were sent to Canada. She stayed with a family in Niagara Falls, Ontario. He was postmaster there. These folks were friends of the Sharp family so Jane worked for the Sharp family as a mother's helper. She married William Sharp in about 1860.

Jane Findlay came to Canada from Scotland as a "Home child" She arrived in Niagara Falls, Ontario to live with a family. The people she stayed with knew the Sharp family. Jane became a nanny for the Sharp's in Ancaster and eventually Jane married William Sharp.
