He sent for his wife and three daughters in November of 1919. He sent them tickets to ride the train to Big Spring. The four boys were born in Big Spring. She moved into Canabury Retirement Home in 1980 or 1981. Then for the last five or so years she lived with James and Betty Findley, her son and daughter-in-law.

According to his son Leroy, he was run over by a car while walking down the middle of Hwy 90 in Big Springs, Texas. He had moved to Texas to combat tuberculosis with a drier climate than that of south Alabama,

Findley-730 and Findley-1064 appear to represent the same person because: Here is the first one Linda, again, don't add any more Findleys--it will just create more work and cleanup for us. Let's merge this one and go out and down from there, per policy.

Thx! Cuzzin Lisa
