Biography

Marcella C. Peters, 84 of Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, formerly of South Locust Street, Elizabethtown, died on Friday, December 26, 2008 at Masonic Village. Born in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late J. Wilbur and Irene D. Fink. She was the devoted, loving wife of the late James D. Peters to whom she was married for 64 years.

A homemaker, Mrs. Peters was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Elizabethtown for over 50 years and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter #407, Elizabethtown.

Marcella loved spending time with her family and was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dr. Donald R. Fink.

Surviving are two sons, Jeffrey W., husband of Lynn Peters, Lancaster and Randy T. Peters, Elizabethtown; a daughter, Maxine J., wife of Larry W. Etter, Middletown; and Carole B. Thomas; four grandchildren and a brother Wilbur J., husband of Miriam Fink of Mount Joy.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at the John S. Sell Memorial Chapel, Masonic Village, Elizabethtown at 11:00 AM. Friends may call at the chapel from 10:00 until the time of service.
