Hi Michael, Looks like there are some merges that you can finish. Just go to pending merges and hit the link that says My Watchlist...let me know if you need help.
Hi Michael, I noticed that you loaded many duplicates during your GEDCOM load. It looks like in many cases you made the decision during the GEDCOM load to reject the matches. This is just a quick message to remind you that we are a collaborative site and share our ancestors. You may want to review Merging Help to help you with the duplicates.
I see you have a DNA badge. Did you know we have a WikiTree project for DNA where a lot of great new things are happening? You will find it and WikiTree's other interesting projects by using the FIND link top right of most WikiTree pages, select PROJECTS from the drop down box. WikiTree's DNA project has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like additional details.
Welcome to our community, Michael. The more ancestors you add, the more likely cousins will find you and help expand your knowledge of your family heritage. :)
Our Honor Code, help pages, search features, and many other useful links can be accessed from the menus on the upper right corner of most pages.
Please consider stopping by the Tree House to introduce yourself.
You know some of this already, but...the more documents, sources, dates, and locations you provide on the profiles you create, the stronger your branches and our mutual global tree will be. If you don't know the correct date, please estimate using before or after.
Thank you for helping in our mission to build a global tree with only ONE profile per person.
Greetings! I'm Mike, have been doing genealogical research for 14 years, very dedicated to getting things to perfection, separating fact from assumptions. I will abide by the honor code and look forward to many hours of help and research toward making wiki-tree the true source for future generations. Knowing how frustrating and challenging it is at breaking through dead-ends in lineages, I hope to find leads and help those who have also came to a similar situation.
Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.
Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.
If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

The help pages give lots of information about the process, best to start with 'Before you import a GEDCOM'.
