1850 George W. Fiscus was born to John Adam (Jr.) and Elizabeth (Bowen) Fiscus on 31 October. [1] He was called "Red George" Fiscus because of his red hair.[2] His father was a farmer in Jefferson Township, Owen County, Indiana.

1873 At the age of 22, George was married to Sarah Ann Fiscus on 2 February 1873. She was 20 years old. Later this year on 27 November, George and Sarah's first child was born, a daughter they named Lurinda. [2][4]

1914 Frederick is married to Clara Agnes Norris on 24 January. George & Sarah are listed as parents of the groom. The record shows that George's middle name is "Washington." Fred's residence is listed as Harlington, Nebraska.[6]
1916 George and Sarah are listed in the marriage record of their son Mathas and his new wife Sarah on 2 December.[9]

1930 After Mathas' wife, Mabel, passes away 1927, he moves back in with George and Sarah.[12]

↑ United States Census, 1900 -- There is a transcription error in the census data on FamilySearch that shows Henry to be age 53; however, if you look at the actual image of the census, he is actually listed as age 9, and his name is listed as "Henry M."
