1876 Solomon marries Sarah Sprague[2] or Sarah Schroer[4] on 2 July.
1878 Solomon and Sarah's son, Henderson, is born in Iowa.[2]
1879/80 Solomon and Sarah's daughter, Matilda ("Tilda"), is born in Iowa.[2]
1880 Solomon and Sarah are living in Douglas, Audubon County, Iowa. They have four children in the household: Isaiah, Marietta, Henderson and "Tilda" (Matilda). Isaiah and Marietta are Sarah's stepchildren. Solomon is working as a farmer.[5]
This is where Lovell's information stops. She does not show any information about the children after Matilda. -- Fiscus-32 15:48, 29 November 2016 (EST)
1900 Solomon and his second wife Sarah are living in Gaither & Crooks Creek Townships, Boone County, Arkansas. There are six children in the household: Tilda, Marion, Catharine, Aiden, Sarah J and Liddie.[6]
Research Notes
There is a chance that Solomon married a Sarah Schroer (Shroyer?) in Greene County, Iowa in 1876.[4] She may have been his wife instead of Sarah Sprague. We need more information to confirm this.
I wonder if, since this was a 2nd marriage for Solomon, if it was also a 2nd marriage for Sarah. Was her maiden name Sprague and she used her married name on her 2nd marriage record?
The Sarah shown in the 1880 Census gives her birth location as Iowa; the Sarah shown in the 1900 Census gives her birth location as Ohio. Two different Sarahs or misinformation on the census??

The groom's name is given as "S A Fiscus," not Solomon. Confirmation is need that this is Solomon. It would be helpful to have records linking the parents of these two.
