Biography

William Randall Fish, born 13 Jul 1824, was the first child of Eliza Roe (Randall) Fish (1803-1872) and Simeon Fish (1797-1863) ^[1],^[2]. The location of his birth is uncertain; whereas his grave memorial presents Stonington, the transcribed official record presents Groton, Connecticut. The locations being geographically close, either is plausible.

He married 19 Jan 1848 Lydia W. Williams ^[3],^[4]. Their children included:

• Walter Fish (1854-1908)
• Charles R Fish (1858-)
• Mary (Fish) Wolfe (1861-)
