Biography

October 7, 1653 -- John Fitz Randolph was baptized at Barnstable, Plymouth Colony (now Massachusetts) a son of Edward Fitz Randolph and Elizabeth Blossom Fitz Randolph. [1] [2]

Circa 1669 -- John's family moved to Piscataway Township, Middlesex County, New Jersey. [3]

October 1, 1681 -- John Fitz Randolph and Sarah Bonham married at Piscataway Township, Middlesex County, New Jersey.[4][5] The Fitz Randolphs and the Bonhams were close neighbors at Barnstable, Plymouth Colony. Sarah was a granddaughter of Mayflower passenger Samuel Fuller. [6]

John Fitz Randolph and Sarah Bonham had seven children: daughters and sons.

John Fitz Randolph was a large landowner [7], "one of the largest landowners of [Piscataway] township." [8]. John was alloted 225 acres of land at Piscataway, and Nicholas Bonham, his father-in-law who had also moved to Piscataway from Barnstable, 122 acres. [9]

1686 - 1689 -- John Fitz Randolph was one of the original members of the First Baptist Church at Piscataway. [10]

1705 - 1707 -- John Fitz Randolph was one of the 17 original members of the Seventh Day Baptist Church at Piscataway. [11]

June 19, 1727 -- John Fitz Randolph died at Woodbridge, Middlesex County, New Jersey. [12]

On 19 June 1729, administration on the estate of John Fitz Randolph of Woodbridge, Middlesex, was granted to his son and heir John Fitz Randolph.[13]
