Laura was born in Detroit Michigan at Florence Crittendon Hospital to Louis Emmett Fitzpatrick and Berta Nunez. She lived on Glastonbury Street north of Plymouth Road on her grandfather's farm. It was sold and the family moved to Redford Michigan. Her childhood friend was Linda Perry. Laura started first grade at Shear Elementary . She has 2 younger sisters. Wendy born in 1956 and Barbara born in 1962. Laura married David T. Harrington on August 21, 1971. They had 2 sons, Michael and Jeffrey. David died Nov 26, 2010. Son Michael died September 20, 2016.
