Amanda was born in 1839 and passed away in 1898. She was Isaac Anderson's second wife, and he was her second husband. Her first husband, William Jefferson Laird, died at an early age leaving a young son, Thomas Jefferson Laird, who eventually went to Erath Co TX where he was a doctor and farmer. After Isaac N. Anderson's death in MS, Amanda moved for a short time to LA where she tried rice farming, but soon joined her son Tommy Laird and daughter Nancy "Nannie" Anderson Martin in Texas where she lived untilher death. She is buried in Turnbow cemetery in Erath Co., TX.
Amanda and Isaac had nine(?) childen.
