EXETER -- John "Jack" Flanagan, 64, of Nottingham Drive, died Monday, March 5, 2001, at his home. He was born Aug. 2, 1936, in Stoneham, Mass., the son of the late Basil and Greta (Cullen) Flanagan. Mr. Flanagan was a machinist at Western Electric/AT&T retiring in 1990 after 28 years of service. Following his retirement he was a machinist at New Hampshire Machine Products of Exeter. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Bailey) Flanagan; six sons, Thomas, Dennis, Robert and Brian Flanagan, all of Amesbury, Mass., Michael Flanagan of South Hampton and John Flanagan of Kingston; one stepdaughter, Caroline Goldrick of New York City; one stepson, Rene Masse of Raymond; 13 grandchildren; one brother, Robert Flanagan of Alaska; and the mother of his children, Florence Flanagan. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday in St. Joseph Church, Amesbury. Private burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to Seacoast Hospice, 10 Hampton Road, Exeter, NH 03833. Arrangements were by the E.V. Jutras & Sons Funeral Home, Amesbury.
