Biography

Naomi was born 15 Dec in 1656 Salisbury.[1]

Naomi had a child named John Darling, presumably the son of of a man named John Darling. She was never married to her son's father. Naomi was summoned to court to acknowledge that her child was illegitimate on 29 Apr 1684.

Naomi Flanders and Benjamin Eastman filed marriage intentions on 4 Feb 1699. Naomi joined the church on 2 Apr 1699 in Salisbury, Essex, Massachussets, after which her illegitimate son, John Darling, was baptized. On 4 Apr 1699, Naomi, age 42, married Benjamin Eastman, age 46, son of Benjamin Eastman and Sarah Smith, in Salisbury, Essex, Massachusetts.

She died 24 Jul 1718 in Salisbury.[3]

It appears that John Darling died in 1719 so unlikely Naomi was married to Eastman in 1699
