d. West End (St. John) 8th inst. [Aug 1890], Ellen BISSETT w/o George W.J. BISSETT, 44th year, left husband, three sons. Funeral Monday 2 o'clock from her residence, corner of Gilmor and Ludlow streets. ^[7]

Mrs. BISSETT w/o Capt. Geo. BISSETT of Carleton (St. John) died last eve. [8 Aug 1890], after a long illness. She was a Miss FLEETWOOD before her marriage. She leaves a husband and three children. Capt. BISSETT, who was away in steamer "Lansdowne" will return home this eve. ^[8]
