Biography

Luke was born in 1626. Luke is the child of Robert Fletcher. Luke probably never married and passed away in 1665.[1]

Luke was born in England (possibly Chelmsford, Essex, England) about 1620. He is listed as the first child of Robert in Fletcher Family History : The Descendants of Robert Fletcher of Concord, Mass.by Fletcher, Edward H. (Edward Hatch), b. 1823 followed by his brother William who was born in 1622

"Robert Fletcher ....He settled at Concord, Mass., in1630; in which yearseventeen ships arrived in MassachusettsBay and at Plymouth, swelling the number of settlersto 21,000. He was then thirty-eight years of age, andhad two sons, Luke find William, and it may be supposed a wife, and his daughter, Cary"[2]

He died in Concord, Mass 21 May 1665 Probably unmarried."[2]

He is buried in Concord, Middlesex, Massachusetts, New England.

The birth date/place given here for Luke are simply speculation. However it is certain he was not born in Concord in 1620 as per Luke Fletcher-2050 since Robert didn't arrive until after 1630. (first mention in 1637.).
