Biography
Margaret was born in December 1861 in Shiney Row, Durham, England. She was the daughter of Richard Fletcher and Mary Ann (Rutherford) Fletcher.[1]
When Margaret was 33 she married John Potter on 14 May 1895 in Houghton le Spring, Durham, England. The couple had one child: Alfred Richard Potter. Note: Witnesses were John McCall and Jane Fletcher. Father Richard Fletcher a coalminer. Both working at Flinton Hill Farm.[2][3][4]
